What colors do you see around you and which ones attract you? Dr. Robyn McMaster wrote an interesting post on June 28th, titled …Change Comes Through Colors that Attract. Now we see interesting news again on that topic … reported by the University of New South Wales… who tell us that true colors are in your brain. Their brain wave images showed people’s ability to see color and they are wondering if these images and new discovery could provide a tool that could help people who lack human color perception. regions of the creative brain.jpg
This is a key area of research for those who see colors inaccurately. Not surprisingly… this research finding by a University of New South Wales PhD student, Ms Mei Ying Boon, recently earned her a nomination in this year's Fresh Science Awards.
We do know that problems such as glaucoma tend to alter people's ability to accurately see color. But it’s a new discover to connect brain activity as a way to diagnose and monitor diseases and conditions that affect color vision pathways in the brain.
Poor color and inaccurate vision is more than mere embarrassment for those who come to work with odd socks… it can also be a serious safety issue when working in some workplaces, which use color to code electrical wiring or digital designs. Look back again for the latest in this attempt to see how you see the colors around you.

In marketing, there is a term as diversification. Diversification is adding a new product in your product line that will result in an addition of your target market. In blogging, as others use the word niche, target market is the same as your niche. If you diversify your niche, you will also increase your number of readers. This kind of marketing strategy is effective, but don’t let your posts be way off your original niche. As I’m doing now, I have posts about Filipino Traits and culture and at the same time I’m doing posts about the relationship of marketing to blogging.
You might ask, is there a relation between the two. Yes, because the first one shows the right Filipino individual to blog.
I admire Carl Ocab for telling that content is not the king but marketing is. But I’d like to add something. As a Marketing Student, I said this because even though you have a good marketing strategy but if your product doesn’t achieve the satisfaction that your clients want, it is useless. Content is only considered as part of your marketing strategy. And your “product” is your content. Links, advertisement, etc., are only a part of your “promotion”. “Place” is guess what, the Internet and “price” depends on your web host.
4 P’s of Marketing
* Product
* Price
* Place
* Promotion
As you may have noticed, product is in the first place of the list. Its because you should first consider the product you want to market before thinking how to market it. This is the basic. And all else follows. So in the blogging industry today, those who have posts that are worth reading for will be successful.
I hope this post clears things up of what is truly the king, the Content or the Marketing. Because this issue might confuse the readers, so I decided to help clarify things. If there is any consultation you want to make, just email here alvindimla@yahoo.com.

The statement above follows the “Principle of Equivalent Trade” in which if you read others blog you will receive benefits from doing so. The most common mistake of bloggers is that they disregard this important thing. They only see this as a waste of time and unnecessary for attracting traffic for your blog. But the truth is, it is the most effective way of building your traffic. If you will read the blogs of others, you will have something on your mind to post as a comment. This is the part where you will add a URL of your blog sa that the blog owner would have a chance to check your own. And if by chance, other commentators might be interested in what you commented and this will add to your traffic.
You can also ask them to make a link to your blog in theirs; naturally you will have to them as a link to your blog. This process is following the “Principle of Equivalent Trade”. You have to spend some time for them and they will spend theirs for you which will result for your benefit.
